On the eleventh day of Station Celebration, we're celebraing our very own version of a BIG FRIDAY - the day we brought in big talent for 'Big Friday Night'. The Peach City Radio board brought in Calgary's CJSW Station Manager Myke Atkinson for a weekend of radio station planning and consultation. With his guidance, the board laid out a plan for the big year ahead and received reassurance that in many ways we are right on track. In addition to the valuable strategic planning, Myke graciously gave a public talk on Friday Nov 21st to a packed room of radio enthusiasts. Intermixed with interesting stories about interesting people, he gave us a glimpse into what it really means to be a community radio family. The experience of hearing from an active community radio host and station manager created SO much enthusiasm amongst our members and supporters - we can't wait for the next stage of our station!

This has been an AMAZING year in the process of building Peach City Radio for you - the community of Penticton. We've decided to get into the holiday spirit by co-opting the special ritual of celebrating the 12 days of Christmas, by sharing with you the 12 Days of Station Celebration!.
