First Annual Okanagan Vinyl Fest - Sept 30
September 10, 2012 by PCR

Are you looking to bolster your budding vinyl collection? Missing that vintage, original pressing of Led Zeppelin III, you know, the one with the pinwheel? Or are you simply looking to dive into the newly revitalized world of the LP?

On September 30, Peach City Radio is teaming up with the Shatford Centre to present the first annual Okanagan Vinyl Fest. We've lined up new and vintage vinyl vendors from far and wide, and we are hosting them in one space to help you maximize your vinyl shopping experience! Come down to the Shatford Auditorium from 10am to 3pm to browse through milk crates upon milk crates of new and used vinyl records, CD's, posters and even some vintage audio equipment. Refreshments will be available, and we will even have a few bands appearing on stage throughout the day to entertain you while you shop. Admission is only $2 per person (kids 10 and under are free when they are accompanied by an adult.

For all the true vinyl afficionados out there, we are offering a special 'Early Bird' browsing session from 9am - 10pm. If you just have to shop with the vendors, join us for only $5 admission during the first hour!

All proceeds from the Okanagan Vinyl Fest go directly to supporting Peach City Radio and its efforts to establish a full time, community based, broadcast radio station in Penticton. We hope to see you all there!
