CFUZ Welcomes "Let's Talk CanQueer"
August 4, 2017 by CFUZ

The newest syndicated show has hit the airwaves at Peach City Radio. The CFUZ Programming Committee is pleased to welcome Let's Talk CanQueer to the airwaves in Penticton, Mondays at 6pm repeating Wednesdays at 10pm.

The CanQueer team brings over a decade of radio experience covering hundreds of LGBT+ topics from across Canada. This is Canada's most syndicated Canadian Community talk show on LGBT+ topics, working to bring listeners conversations out of the mainstream. This show is carried on over 12 campus/community stations across the country, and now you will hear it weekly on Peach City Radio.

Let's Talk CanQueer is produced in Ottawa in association with Velvet Studio. Co-host Luke Smith is well known to CFUZ as a member of the National Campus and Community Radio Association staff.

Let's Talk CanQueer is the latest in a number of syndicated programs we bring you weekly from across the continent. Syndicated content helps us fill our schedule with informative and diverse content while we work towards training new hosts and DJs right here in Penticton to make programs of their own. If you are inspired by any of the content you hear on Peach City Radio, or if you have an idea of your own, please get in touch with our programming department via email to prog@peachcityradio.org and we can help you get involved!
