Craft Club Radio 1 Episode 128 - About Nothing Posted: April 20, 2018 - 59 minutes - 55.1 Mb - -
Vince comes in to the studio and we make a show about nothing. This show has no point. The only purpose of this show is what you give it.
In our continuing theme on Longevity, this week we have a conversation about the Hidden Gems in life. By Midlife we are finding a lot of hidden gems on our doorstep. These are life's truly amazing ahh ha moments. Hidden gems arrive, sometimes with perfect timing and often quite unexpectedly.
Sometimes, Hidden gems appear when you are looking or expecting one thing, and something entirely different arrives.
Some Hidden Gems are big, bright, and can't be missed.
Others are shrouded, concealed, and the true meaning or significance, will not be recognized or understood for many years.
Hidden gems are more often seen by Wabi Women.
Wabi washing, a phrase we coined and something we have talked about in many of our radio episodes, helps the shift occurs, so those gems can be discovered. Wabi washing, help us navigate through Midlife and beyond, and if you are curious, head over to our website later, and find out the three simple questions wabi washing asks.
Enjoy the show!

Musical Therapy Episode 135 - The Joy of Conflict, Part 5, Collaboration Tools Posted: March 27, 2018 - 59 minutes - 55.8 Mb - playsheet -
One of the most powerful ways to deal with conflict is through collaboration. We have to first be aware of the 'cost' of not working it out----and if that outweighs the cost of deciding to empathize and negotiate with, and be 'curious' about the person with whom we have conflict, then probably collaboration is the best model. I play songs illustrating these tools---by Harry Belafonte, Beatles, Alanis Morrissette, Jack Johnson, Paul Thorn, David Campbell, Fraser and Debolt, Bob Dylan, Nina Simone, Cab Calloway, Common Deer, and Buffy Sainte-Marie & Tanya Tagaq.

Wabi Women- this episode is all about the Midlife Fork in the Road. A Fork in the Road reveals two possible paths for us to travel. Many of us in Midlife and beyond, don’t know we have a choice as to which path to follow. Many of us, believe the current road signs pointing “over the hill” and “too old to do….” are the only option. Crystal and I got to the Fork in the Road, and knew those old signs were leading us in a direction we had no intention of following. Wabi Women like us, will come to that proverbial Fork in the Road, and make a decision to leave the well-marked road of Midlife and beyond, and choose to go on the less trodden side. We like to call it… the path of possibilities. But how do we do that? How do we make that switch to the other side at this proverbial Fork in the Road? Listen up!
