In the coming weeks, Peach City Radio will offer 3 different sessions to help those interested see and hear what we're all about. Radio 101 and 2 Making Radio Workshops - one for GarageBand (on Mac) and one for Audacity (on PC or Mac).

On Tuesday January 27, we will hold our Radio 101 session, where we outline the basics of community radio in Canada - a requirement for anyone interested in hosting a show, or producing content for Peach City Radio. See our event page for more details. Radio 101 is free to anyone.

On February 3, and February 10 we are hosting another set of Making Radio Workshops. This is where our experienced hosts and producers lend some guidance and assistance to those learning how to use the tools of making podcasts. We'll show you some tips and tricks, answer your questions, and even talk about show concepts. Bring your own laptop and gear if you have it, and we'll help walk you through making your own show!. Space is limited, so pre-registration is required. These workshops are free for PCR members, and $25 for non members. Register for the GarageBand (Mac) workshop Feb 3 or for the Audacity (Mac or PC) workshop Feb 10.

Training community members in the ways of community radio is a core pillar of Peach City Radio. We feel that it is very important for those participating in making community radio have a clear understanding of what our relationship is with the CRTC, and what they can expect to find once they begin getting involved with Peach City Radio.
