The Listen Up! Peach City Radio Speaker Series is a training program, primarily designed to inspire community members into participating in community radio, and to provide practical information on topics relevant to new and developing programmers, members and volunteers.

Our goal throughout this year-long project is to host a diverse cast of interesting and engaging speakers from around the country in Penticton. These speakers will facilitate a workshop for Peach City Radio members, in addition to providing the general public with a talk.

Each invited speaker will have some connection to community. Relating their experiences, skills and knowledge back through the vehicle of community radio, will help to inspire our community to support and become involved in our project to gain the airwaves of Penticton.

Workshops will be intimate venues for small groups of members and interested parties to directly engage with our speaker, while our public talks will be an opportunity for our speakers to shine, and engage an audience with their passion.

Check back to this page often as we update and present our current and future speaker series participants.
